Kisses and Carousels

Hi there!

Yesterday, Mama y Papi took me to Charlottesville, VA, for Papi's birthday. We ate brunch at a restaurant, and while we waited for our food, Mama and I shared kisses:

And I rode on a carousel:

And guess what! Tomorrow we start driving to Florida to see family and go to Disneyworld! Maybe I'll audition for a character part and become a star!

Maybe Papi will too!

Okay, so let's see . . . What's happened in the month and half since I've written?

I've been working on my puzzle skills.

For those of you who don't know Makeba, here's a picture of her and me. She loves when I hold her. Can't you just see the love in her face!





We bought a new house. Warning: These are "before" pictures. Papi says it'll take him about a quazillion years to get to the "after" pictures. I don't think he has that long . . .

This is my room. We have to paint over that girly pink and strip the floor.

This is the sitting area, just as you come in the front door. I've always wanted a sitting area, because I like to sit for a long period of time--about three seconds.

Happy Easter

Hiya!

Today is my second Easter. I'm still not sure what it's all about, but I think it has something to do with finding eggs, waiting for mysterious figures to hop through the night, and crying if I don't have control over the camera.

Yesterday, we colored eggs. The Easter egg paint applies pretty well to the table too.




Today, I dressed up real nice, excited to hunt the Easter eggs I painted!

Just a word of advice. When you realize there's a bigger world around you, that you're really not the only person in that world, and that it doesn't revolve around you, you start to get what's called perspective. I like cameras--and they apparently like me--but sometimes I'm not supposed to have them. And when I can't have them, well, you'll see . . .

Not very pretty, is it?

Miss Me?

Hiya!

It's been a while, I know. Things have been very busy lately. I've been working on buying a house, getting over colds, and starting a new endeavor: my photo exhibit of me! This group of photos is called "Fun with Hats." Enjoy!



We've had snow a couple of times since I wrote last. I like to go out and play in it.

Even with all the snow, we've had some beautiful weather this week. It got up to 76 degrees one day. So, on Sunday, Papi took me to the arboretum across from campus. Here's a view:

Back inside, it's time to practice with my band, Lexie and the Adventure Femmes:

I'll leave you with a little advice. When you're only 16 months old, sometimes it's not a good idea to stand in chairs. Mami and Papi say it's never a good idea to stand in chairs, but that didn't stop them from taking this picture:
